Circle October 09a : Rachel, ms2. 1610hrs - 1720hrs, VN / sony / LS10 dictaphones.

For an unscheduled afternoon sitting, we were very surprised at the level of activity. As requested, the circle opened in blackout.

From just after opening, lights were being seen by ms2 in front of the drawn curtains and by Rachel behind. The lights Rachel described were the size of 2p coins and red and blue, at one point there were 5 lights seen in front of her. These lasted only for a couple of seconds before fading away.

In the blackout, ms2 saw two self illuminated partial heads, that were described to be grey-white. These were both of ladies and were a side profile, their skin was said to be stretch flat but textured.

She also witnessed the lips of an African gentleman, twice begin to build. She later saw this man transfigured. He was said to be in his 60's/70's, had gray hair and appeared distinguished.

Whilst in low red lighting, ms2 reported that Rachel had lurched forward in her chair and quite started her - Rachel had not. After settling down, she saw a feminine lady sitting in front of, and detached from Rachel ( whose features were seen to be rubbed out, whilst those of the lady were clear ). This figure remained visible for a few seconds, whilst she was present, ms2 sounded very shocked and reported that something was coming out of the curtain towards her. This developed in to a white wispy hand that appeared to almost push back the curtain. Unfortunately it dissolved in a couple of seconds and was not seen again.

We can deduce historically that in our seance room, communicators do seem to be able to leave messages more easily on dictaphones in red light. Whenever we sit in blackout, there is always a huge drop in voice recordings. This maybe unfortunate for the study, but for the sake of a fantastic sitting we are more than happy to have captured so little.

1. ms2: gimme 5 more minutes, if that's alright - go wait ( VN )
