Circle Jul 09c: Rachel, sF. 2000hrs - 2200hrs, VN dictaphone.
The circle was opened in darkness to provide our communicators with the easiest conditions to come forward. However, very little activity was experienced until approximately half way through the sitting and the red light was manually turned up by sF.
There were short auditory noises that sF and Rachel both heard, and occasional noises only heard by either person. Oddly, it was the noises heard by only one person that could be found on the recording to be a voice.
In response to questions the light was turned up and down, but this was very infrequent and the light level was not dramatically altered.
Just before the end of the sitting, the light was reduced by a communicator and a short period of transfiguration was seen. These were described as being more solid and clearly not being Rachel.
Post sitting, the character of the recording was found to very different than the last sitting with r2. The overall quantity of voice clips were about the same, but the clarity and context of the responses are very encouraging.

2. Rachel was discussing a physical medium from the past; we would have got on as we're both cantankerous mediums - that girl's impetulent

3. Rachel: ...he was, I don't know if this is Tony, that Tony but... - I'm Tony
4. The table was used for a short period at the request of a communicator. sF: are you going to use the table, did you want us to use the table - I come over ya
5. Rachel was talking about the way another circle sat - oh, that must have been Helen - Rachel: ...taken down in, in shorthand in the dark
6. We're on to a big picture, my face no good ( an unknown communicator )- sF: is anybody going to come through this evening?
7. New carpet ( one had just been laid in the room ) - sF; didn't you hear that ?
8. Rachel: I can hear a Scottish voice on my left, who's that? - it's me
9. Rachel: c'mon Dr Geley, what would you like to do [ on the table ] - press
10. Rachel: its like there's a colness going up towards the table - ...you'll have more on your upper
11. Rachel: ...can you confirm you do not want us to use the table... - that's it
12. sF describing a female communicator that was transfigured over Rachel : ...a sliver of grey going through dark hair - her has - you know when someone has...
13. I'll be sinkered ( no idea what this means ) - sF: good to hear something
