Circle January 2009 : Rachel, sF and v6, 2000-2230 hrs, 2 x VN and LS dictaphones.
v6 is a well respected friend of Rachel and has a great deal of knowledge regarding physical mediumship, this was his first sitting in our circle.
We opened in darkness, it was noted the seance room was extraordinarily cold, everybody felt the chill. Until the light was turned up after approximately 40 minutes by Rachel, no phenomena was witnessed by sF or v6. There were very long periods of complete stillness and inactivity that had not been experienced before by Rachel or sF.
Only when the light was turned down by a communicator was anything seen. sF and v6 both reported at the same time, a small shape behind the curtain move diagonally from Rachel's left shoulder to the floor.
After the closing bell was rung, our communicators then began to try and work with transfiguration. Unfortunately for sF and v6 the light was dim, this made observing the faces difficult and unreliable. sF placed her hand alongside Rachel's face, the hand was seen to be reasonably sharp in contrast to the smudged appearance of the transfigured face.

The amount and quality of voices captured on all three dictaphones was dramatically reduced in this sitting. There was no background conversation heard from our usual communicators, only short answers in response to questions and the odd remark referring to what we were doing or saying at the time.
1. Rachel, whilst turning on the recorders: all the better... - good evening
2. sF: who's going to come forward and say hello - hello
3. Rachel: use my energy - d'you know what you said
4. v6: can you give us your name? - ( sounds like ) Tateman
5. sF: come forward - who's that ?
6. v6 : was he an officer? - No ! - Rachel: I can't see any stripes on his shoulders
7. v6: it might not be me that he knows, Rachel: exactly - David
8. v6: ...ended up in a cellar of some - Raymond ( very gruff voice )
9. sitting here - Rachel: Someone's just breathed on my right, really loudly
