Q : Why do you have to be so careful about who is invitied into the circle ?
A : There are many facets to one main reason for being selective to whom you allow access, the reason being to ensure the continuity of development of communication in its many forms.
For the circle it is imperative that all members hold implicit trust with each other. If a guest or member is admitted in to the circle without prior agreement by all members there is a risk of disharmony. All members must be able to work with the new entrant on many levels, this includes being able to trust that they will behave accordingly inside and outside of the circle. This would seem to be an impossible task but it is not insurmountable, careful selection by the circle so far has maintained the rapid development of contact and rarely witnessed phenomena.
In the early stages of the circle's existence a more lax attitude prevailed in order to bring forward more sitters. By experience we learned that more sitters did not equate to increased development and in some instances proved to be an inhibiting factor when they were not focused on the circle's purpose. Over the first couple of years a pattern of behaviour was recognised that encouraged contact with our communicators and assisted the production of physical phenomena. It was evident by the second year that it was far more important to have just one reliable, conscientious sitter than those who only objective was to witness phenomena.
How
The mental state of the sitters is very important only those with a grounded, positive mental attitude have been successful in witnessing phenomena. This does not imply that you have to be "a believer", only that your frame of mind is crucial to the success of a sitting. When inviting guests or new members in to the circle we have to consider all aspects of a person, not just their desire to join us. A new member can bring a fantastic contribution to the circle, they can also do tremendous harm and wipe away many months of work inadvertently. We are very protective towards our work do not admit anyone we consider to be potentially disruptive, intentionally or otherwise.
