Q : Why do you want to sit in a physical circle ?

A : It is not for us to say what are the right and wrongs reasons for sitting. However, we ask this question to every person who comes into the circle, either as a guest or as a potential new member.

If you attend as a regular sitter, not only are you sitting for yourself but for the medium and the group. The responsibility is huge and often not considered by inexperienced enthusiastic sitters when they first begin. If the circle is new with a medium under development, it may take a very long time, maybe many years before you are able to obtain communication or witness significant phenomena.If your intention is to witness phenomena only, you are unlikely to be successful. Without the close bonds formed with communicators on the other side, trust will not be built and your attempts will be very frustrating.

Should you wish to begin sitting as a physical circle medium, you have chosen one of the hardest paths to follow. Expect to be criticised, ridiculed and laughed at by everyone outside of your circle. Professionally it can be damaging, which is why many including Rachel choose not to work publicly. You must put aside your ego and remember that you are working for your communicators, not for you.

If you are attending a physical circle demonstration, you would hope to receive personal communication from a loved one. If you are paying to sit, you will expect to witness phenomena, but you must be prepared that not every sitting is successful in the way you hoped it would be and no medium can guarantee evidence from a specific communicator.
