Q : Why do you need protection in a physical circle and who offers it ?

A : We have found that as people tend to be in life, so are they after the transition. If a communicator was generally a happy individual they will come through with well intentioned messages and communication. There are others whilst on this side who enjoyed being negative and destructive, passing over does not seem to encourage these souls to lead a more pleasant existence in the afterlife, at least not initially.

Before you begin your work there will be energies around you, wanting to help and who are there to protect both you and the circle. But you must ask for their help, you have to invite them in. At no point should you take their help for granted and assume that because you are sitting in a circle you are protected. By opening a circle, any type of circle, you will attract energies from all levels. You must be specific when you open to ask for protection from your guides and helpers and to request only those from the highest realms to come forward to communicate. It does not matter how you phrase your request it is the intent that is important, your communicators will understand what is being asked of them. It does not have to be a religious prayer but the sentiment must be heartfelt. If any person sitting in the circle feels vulnerable or senses a negative energy, repeat the request for protection and ask for it to be strengthened.

Physical harm is very rare but not unheard of, should a member of the circle be touched unpleasantly or hit, it is best if you are inexperienced or unsure to close the circle and not sit again the same evening. Be aware of any member of the circle suddenly displaying an uncharacteristically bad attitude, being argumentative or aggressive, should this happen ask immediately for your guides to expel the energy and close. Unless you have experience in dealing with negative energies, do not continue until you feel confident of handling the situation.
