Q : How do you form a physical circle ?
A : The most important thing to have before you form the circle is a strong conviction and recognition that it may take years before you will achieve your first communication. If you are prepared to dedicate yourself to the long and sometimes frustrating events that are bound to arise, begin. A circle does not begin with people pulling up chairs, but with the first thought of intent sent to those on the other side who are there waiting to help. Before you decide where to sit and with whom, send out a thought and ask for guidance on forming a circle. You may not be aware of who is listening to you intially, but when the time is right your request will be answered. You may feel intuition guide you to a particular place, if so go with it. If you are doing this for the right reasons, you can be assured that you will be given every assistance in achieving contact.
Choose your seance room carefully, it should be ideally blacked out to begin with and away from noisy areas. If you choose to begin in the light, it may take a little longer for activity to begin. Whatever anybody tells you, do what feels right for you. You may choose to have objects for communicators to move, keep them to a minimum to begin with as you need to focus on communicators not party tricks. Seating must be comfortable as you will be sitting for long periods with as little movement as possible.
Circles are easy to form, but can be difficult to sustain. If you have decided to form your own circle, the most challenging thing will be finding the right people. When you begin, enthusiasm will be high and there may be a quick start in the circle. Often communicators like to make early contact as an incentive to keep you interested. This activity often slows down and with that many sitters loose the impetus to sit. Most circles at one time or another go through quiet periods where little appears to be happening. Use these periods to get to know your fellow circle members. The closer you are as a group, the more likely you are to succeed. How often you sit is up to you. Be realistic, people are busy and sitting more than once every two weeks may be difficult for sitters to accommodate. The most important thing is to enjoy what you do !
