Hell Fire Caves, Buckinghamshire, 26th October 08 : Rachel and ms2, 1200-1250hrs.

We were lucky to spend time in the caves when they were relatively quiet. There were so many voices recorded we can not begin to list them here. Despite the obvious acoustic echo to human speech caused by the environment, nearly all messages from communicators are free from the effect.

Rather than finding the caves a gloomy place, we felt them to be welcoming and friendly. At no point did we encounter any negativity or even one confrontational entity. We did record less than polite comments, but this is not unusual when investigating an area inhabited for ceremonial use over a long period of time.

Those lucky enough to gain access to the caves at night should be aware that activity would probably be of a different character and may be magnified in certain areas. Although our visit was short, it was one of the most enjoyable places we have visited and would highly recommend the caves for a visit.
