SAGB, 8th January 2009 : Rachel , 1800-1850 hrs, VN dictaphone.
This recording was not planned; I was in London after work and did not need to hurry home, so thought I would visit the Spiritualist Association of Great Britain, in Belgrave Square for the evening demonstration.
The building is large and although in central London, is very quiet in the evening. On the top floor is a peaceful chapel, with a beautiful stain glass window. As I had arrived quite early, I sat in the chapel and spent some time in meditation.
After a few minutes I was asked to put on the dictaphone. This was used earlier in the day for a business meeting. I set the machine down on a chair next to meet and immediately heard a knock on one of the wooden panels. I was in some doubt as to the suitability of using the dictaphone in the chapel, but by questioning and obtaining knocks was satisfied it should continue.
There is the occasional motorbike noise on the recording and for the period of 5 minutes, three ladies came in to the chapel. Interestingly, the voices captured on the recording had messages and directions for the ladies. These obviously can not be posted here as they are personal.
My concern was dispelled when listening to the recording asall of the communicators were positively encouraging. The quality of the voices does vary, along with the sex and vocal characteristics of the communicator. I would not record here again unless invited to do so, but it was a most enjoyable visit. The demonstration was excellent too.

spirits in the material
1. Maybe they knew of my upbringing - she's saying her prayers, are you ? ...
2. I was not praying but mediating on prayer - it's Hail Mary
3. An Irish ladies voice - confess her Sarah
4. No reference to this remark - we can't bless you if you're not here
5. A kind message - healing, we thought you'd want
6. My eyes were closed - she looks sad, she won't tell you, she's perfectly nice
7. A communicator knew of my ability - you're mechanical woman
8. No idea of who "he" is - don't think he's coming, oh he is, Rachel will be
9. A few minutes before the ladies climbed the stairs - they're around here
10. I was asked to pass a message on to the ladies whilst meditating, however I thought it might not be the correct thing to do, being a complete stranger to them and only a visitor to the SAGB - and before they're all gone be personal
