Peterhouse College Theatre, 8th December 08 : Rachel, 1730 - 1830hrs, VN2100 ( VN ) and LS10 ( LS) recorders
These recordings were done whilst working at the college. I and my colleague were not in the theatre except for the beginning and end of the hour and apart from us, there was nobody else in the building. The library does back on to the building at the far end but this entrance was closed. For approximately 15 minutes, I was alone in the building. It was in this period that some of the clearest EVPs were captured.
I used both recorders and it was interesting to note that both recordings were in the main quite different. Both had unique voices, although some were identical in pitch and intonation.
Having had mixed results in other locations, I was not expecting to hear such astoundingly clear messages, some rather pertinent to the location.
Further recordings from Cambridge will follow shortly.
