I was invited to stay at the Castle and the venue were very kind in extending their invitation to ms2, as a guest. All of the staff were exceptionally hospitable and we were fortunate to be given a reportedly active room to stay in.

Our first impression of the room was that it was luxurious and warm. Not at all what we were expecting. Despite calling out many times for communicators to make themselves known to us, little happened in the day time.

The first sign of activity did not happen until we returned to the room, late after dinner. Whilst getting ready for bed, there were localised sharp drops in temperature. Again, we called out but little happened. It was not until I was woken from my sleep, by men talking in the room that any atmosphere was sensed. This was not marked and I was not able to illicit any reply to my questions, so I rolled over and went back to sleep.

I was very surprised to hear many clear voices on the recording. The sound quality over all was not good and much of the recording is un-listenable. One rather remarkable feature of the late recording is a regular very short bursts of talking for nearly an hour. Initially, I thought this was ms2 snoring, but listening closely and filtering the hiss, it is possible to hear voices and broken speech.

There are many more voices on the recording than listed here, but their quality makes them poor material for posting.
